Notice of GM Resignation

To our valued members, sponsors, our trainers, and all racing participants,

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and wishing you a very Happy New Year!

I write to you today to inform you that, on behalf of the Muswellbrook Race Club Board (MRC), our General Manager, Trevor Taylor has resigned due to family reasons.

Trevor joined Muswellbrook Race Club as General Manager in October 2021.

Since that time, he has made some significant improvements to the operation of the club, including but not limited to racing related matters and improving efficiencies of a modern-day country race club.

Some of his key achievements include the development of membership through the EQUUS loyalty club, enhanced race day experience with the inclusion of live music between races, increased non race day events in The Silks function centre and increased benefits to existing sponsors and attraction of new sponsors.

MRC President John Sunderland commented, “On behalf of everyone at Muswellbrook Race Club and our members, I would like to thank Trevor for everything he has done for the club. I wish him and his extended family all the very best for the future.”

Trevor Taylor commented, “I have thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone at Muswellbrook Race Club, the Board, the staff, the members, sponsors, our trainers, and all racing participants. The time is right for me to relocate back to South Australia to be with my immediate family after being apart since my appointment.”

Trevor’s last day will be at the conclusion of the race meeting on the 15^th of January.
