MRC recently raised $23,000 for the Northern Districts Flood Relief, and these funds were distributed to feed merchants in respective areas to assist trainers who had been affected by the recent floods in assisting with the feeding costs of their horses. We received this lovely response from the Ballina Trainers.
Dear Trevor and the Committee of the Muswellbrook Race Club,
I write to you today to express our sincere appreciation of the efforts of your club in raising the funds and donating it for the flood affected trainers and farmers up here on the Northern Rivers. Although it’s been a few months since the floods, the impacts are still being felt enormously by all.
